All New Redesigned E- Class (MB HITS A HOME RUN)
When the new E class debuted its new look in around i think-1996, i though it was the most hideous worst look ever for M-B, well it took time and getting used to these new age/retro styles.It is now one of my favorites.
Yes its time for an updated look for the E-class.
This is one of M-Bs best vehicles that it has to offer.The S-class is nice, but i prefer the conservative classic new look of the E-class.
This is a mid sized luxury sedan with optional upgraded engines.
(v-6 is offered as standard equipmment,but horse power is lacking amongst this entry level engine, do opt for the E430 sport 4.3l engine with a wopping 275 hp rating that will move this car with precise accuracy.The grill,interior are all new. the interior is beautifully done with top grade wood, and sumptuous leather.
This car competes with the best luxury sedans on the planet. The very well established marquees such as the BMW528i/540, Lexus LS430.And all are big time heavy weight contenders in thier own rights.
hmmm, did someone say room? this well proportioned sedan has good room for 5 people, the fit and finish on this luxo- mid sized car is outstanding.
This car not only offers a Marquee with a price tag, but shakes its cold conservative body styling for a new hipper, more "updated to this century look",,key points are the beautifully sculptured body resembling the S-class but not as goddy.
The new look of M-B is here and it is a winner-M-B hits a home run

ESCALADE 2002 :Dallas Auto Show 2002
Redesigned for 2002 due to complaints that it just plainly looked like a Chevy Tahoe with a Caddy badge.And please note that both are very nice suvs made by GM,but for this class that it is trying to enter, well we want more.
The Tahoe is a great vehilcle and in my opinion the Denali Tahoe 99-2001 offered a better more luxurious package then the 99-2001 escalade.
Dont get me wrong, making a luxo- package based on another vehicle is a good thing, alot of luxo-brands do it and are greatly successful.

:AUDI/VW..LEXUS/TOYOTA..ACURA/HONDA...INFINITY/NISSAN,...FORD/JAGUAR,,LINCOLN/FORD, and GM/CADDILAC
I just feel that the caddys 99-01 exterior was nice, and the interior or engine were not refined at all.
The 2002 Escalade takes a new bolder look.refreshing new age edgey styling, beefy tires and a massive look.did they differentiate from the tahoe/denali? they should have kept the look exclusively for Caddilac, but it too is shared with the Tahoe. the exterior resembles the tahoe too much,,but the edgey neo style makes it look cool.
Caddy is trying to shake off that "typical senior citizen profile/styling"(which is their bread and butter) and i will confess that i like the escalades exterior.its the best looking full sized suv ive seen for 2002( besides a few dislikes).
Now the bad news, you knew this was coming...lol
The interior is not refined for this price range, steering wheel/full dash look exactly like the tahoes interior with wood that is below average.(a lot of the wood is just a cheap 3m sticker- normally used in after market stores. like the kits found at harrys hot rod) or did i just run across a bad caddy at the show.... it think not
The leather is up to parr with the rest of the luxos in this class.Room is huge. The ride is soft and cushy with refined steering and advanced suspension,explained the Caddy Rep.,, and power,I was at awe! KUDOS! POWER! power! power,,,,with a consequence(but thats expected of suvs this size). YES it has the strongest engine avail ( wow 345hp 6.0 v-8 ,,,,but gets about 12 miles per gallon...thirsty) a very nice suv though too goddy for the conservative target that Range Rover,Bmw,Lexus and M-Benz want to attract.everytime i see this pretty suv, it is driven by a ghetto music blasting teen, or a rap artist.
And the huge Caddy symbol at the back is way too big!.Kudos to Caddy for tring to attract the younger buyers with refreshing daring new concept styles, but will it bury its image in the ghetto.
